Educational outreach is focused on making the material available to organizations and agencies involved with the Bay (most of the major ones are involved in the project) as well as schools. This includes printed material for classroom use, video shorts, spin-off programs, an expanded web presence, possible museum exhibits and maybe a companion book. NCPB is planning to lead a big outreach component including incorporating Saving the Bay into KQED’s existing science education program, which reaches over 50,000 teachers and students.
